About Us

Dr. Janessa Devereux

Janessa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2001 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado Anschutz in 2009. She became a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) through the Institute of Physical Art in 2015—an advanced certification that reflects her commitment to looking beyond symptoms to identify and treat the true source of a problem for lasting results.

Her treatment style is hands-on, whole-body, and movement-focused. Janessa specializes in diagnosing and treating orthopedic and sports injuries and is passionate about helping people move more efficiently and get back to doing what they love. She’s certified in trigger point dry needling and Pilates, and is experienced with neurological and vestibular conditions as well.

Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find her running trails, backpacking in the mountains, snowboarding, mountain biking, studying Spanish, traveling somewhere new, or hanging by the campfire with a good book.

Dr. Rebecca (Becca) Mohrbacher

Becca knew she wanted to become a physical therapist from an early age because she was drawn to a profession centered around movement. She wanted to be moving every day while helping others problem solve movement challenges. During college, Becca briefly explored a different career path before realizing that physical therapy was one of the few professions that combined meaningful relationships with people and a highly hands-on approach to care, something she believes is a powerful part of the healing journey.

She graduated from Regis University in 2018 and worked for several years in Denver. In 2022, she moved to Steamboat Springs to pursue intensive training with Gregg and Vicky Johnson through the Institute of Physical Art. She became a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) in 2023 and continued in Steamboat for fellowship training. She has extensive experience treating head-to-toe musculoskeletal conditions, as well as treating the viscera, pressure system dysfunctions, integrated pelvic dysfunction, vagus nerve dysfunction, and airway dysfunctions. She is passionate about helping patients better understand their bodies and restore meaningful, efficient movement through individualized, whole-person care.

Outside the clinic, Becca enjoys exploring nature with her family. Whether skiing or running in the mountains, fishing in a river, or simply taking a nature walk together, she feels most grounded outdoors.
